University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF
Byers Auditorium (Seminar) and Atrium (Reception), Genentech Hall, Mission Bay Free Event

Genentech Hall - Mission Bay 600 16th Street San Francisco

Free Event

Please join us at Mission Bay on Thursday, March 23rd for a seminar series and networking event exclusively for early-career researchers (pre-doctoral school). This is a career development opportunity for junior scientists to practice presenting scientific research in a supportive environment. The presentation can be on a research project or a journal club style talk. We will have three–four volunteers each month give a 10–12-minute presentation, followed by questions.

After the presentations, there will be a reception with refreshments and snacks. It will be a great networking event to get to know your peers! The seminars will alternate locations between Mission Bay and Parnassus and will also be on Zoom. The schedule for the Grey shuttle is here – there is a shuttle leaving Parnassus at 3:25 PM.

If you would like to give a presentation, please add your name to the Google Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1G7BflyBjY75y-z7mr4QMFZ_-T7RA0igw2yX3f7cTdZY/edit?usp=sharing
