We’re riding 100 miles for metastatic breast cancer research!

On October 21, 2023, a group of UCSF staff, faculty, and friends will cycle 100 miles as part of the One More City San Francisco-Point Reyes Century Ride

In addition to raising funds, we are increasing awareness of metastatic breast cancer, which is the second leading cause of death for women with cancer in the US. We want you to join us!

Why We’re Riding

The funds we raise will directly support the work of Laura Esserman, MD, Andrei Goga, MD, PhD, and Laura J. van ’t Veer, PhD, whose research – including clinical trials at UCSF – is leading to treatments that help metastatic breast cancer patients live longer while experiencing fewer side effects.

We invite any UCSF employees (and their families) who are cyclists or aspiring cyclists to consider joining the ride!
