Join the Neuroimaging Technology Research Center (NTRC) for a special presentation by internationally recognized radiologist and scientist Qiyong Gong, MD, PhD, Professor of Clinical Radiology and Director of the Huaxi MR Research Center (HMRRC) at West China Hospital of Sichuan University in Chengdu, China.
Dr. Gong’s work focuses on MR imaging of psychiatric disorders and the advancement of psychoradiology, an emerging subspecialty within clinical radiology that integrates neuroimaging, psychiatry, and neuroscience. His research has contributed significantly to understanding the imaging biomarkers and neural mechanisms associated with psychiatric disease.
Dr. Gong has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications, maintains a Google Scholar h-index above 120, and is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He is associate editor of the American Journal of Psychiatry, editor of Psychoradiology, and editorial board member of Neuroradiology. He is a Senior Fellow of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
