Professor Maude is head of the Epidemiology Department at Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit, Bangkok, Thailand, where he has worked since 2007. He leads multidisciplinary, policy-focused research that combines field studies, descriptive epidemiology, and modeling of communicable diseases in the Asia-Pacific region.
