The UCSF Office of Alumni Relations welcomes Delphine Huang, MD ’14, MS ’11, resident alum, who will share how she helps organizations apply design-thinking principles to identify unmet health care needs, integrate value-driven innovations, and make cost-effective decisions to drive impactful health care solutions.
About our guest speaker: Dr. Delphine Huang is a medical director at IDEO in the Health Studio. She works closely with design teams to bring impactful and innovative ideas to life. Her projects span from devices to health systems to experience design. She is also a practicing emergency medicine physician at UCSF/ZSFGH and Kaiser Permanente in addition to being a Stanford University Biodesign Fellow with a focus on medtech innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Huang is passionate about health equity and has led implementation/QI projects focused on care coordination and digital health for underserved communities. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Brown University and an MD-MS from the Joint Medical Program at UCSF/UC Berkeley. She recently completed her emergency medicine residency at UCSF.
