Stephanie Fertig, MBA, Director, NIH Small Business Program (SEED), will give a talk on “How to Fund your Startup with an SBIR Grant” on August 7 at Noon PT.  Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants are the government’s gift to startups.  If you win one, you can progress your translational research and commercialization plan without parting with your company’s equity.  Learn about the grant requirements from the NIH official who oversees this program.  The last chance to apply for an SBIR this year is September 6 so this talk is very timely.
