Carol Dawson-Rose, PhD, RN, FAAN, professor and chair of Community Health Systems, is the 2020 recipient of the UCSF School of Nursing's Helen Nahm Research Lecture Award.

The award recognizes a UCSF School of Nursing faculty member or alumnus who has made an outstanding contribution to nursing science and research over a sustained period of time.

Dawson-Rose’s distinguished career includes major contributions to the nursing profession’s impact in the field of HIV care. She epitomizes Helen Nahm’s desire to share research findings with new generations of nurses and her work exemplifies Nahm’s excellence of scholarship and dedication of purpose.

Join us for the Lecture and Award Ceremony on May 19, from 10-11:30 a.m. in Medical Sciences 214. A reception will follow on the Nursing Mezzanine.
