Join the UCSF School of Nursing for the 41st Helen Nahm Research Lecture, with award recipient and alumna MarySue Heilemann, PhD, RN, FAAN.

Heilemann is the recipient of the 2022 Helen Nahm Research Lecture Award in honor of her outstanding contributions to nursing science and research.

She will deliver a talk titled "From Methodology to Action: An Interdisciplinary Journey to Improve Latinas’ Mental Health Using Evidence-Informed Transmedia Storytelling."

Heilemann earned her PhD from the UCSF School of Nursing in 1996 and was a postdoctoral fellow at the university from 1997 to 1998. She is a professor at the UCLA School of Nursing and associate program director of the UCLA National Clinical Scholars Program. In addition, she is an affiliate faculty with the UCLA Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice and Health.
