 opulation Research (BPR) Core can help you advance your research across all
  stages\, from the formulation of the research question to dissemination of
  results\, in a cost-effective\, stable\, and reliable way!\n\nThe mission 
 of the BPR Core is to ensure scientific rigor\, efficiency\, and reproducib
 ility of all cancer research at the HDFCCC using best practices and innovat
 ions in biostatistics and population sciences. In 2021 the Core was expande
 d to add population science-related expertise and resources to complement i
 ts biostatistical expertise to support a broader portfolio of population sc
 ience research. These additional services are supported by faculty and staf
 f of the UCSF DREAM Lab\, a multidisciplinary research team with expertise 
 in cancer epidemiology\, social epidemiology\, social and behavioral scienc
 es\, cancer surveillance\, geographic information system (GIS)\, and data s
 cience.\n\n(2) Catchment Area Dashboard\n\nDr. Debbie Oh will provide a bri
 ef overview of the expanded Catchment Area Dashboard\, a customized tool th
 at allows us to visualize sociodemo-graphic and behavioral variables and ca
 ncer statistics for the population in our catchment area\, which can help s
 park new ideas for innovative research projects that address the needs of o
 ur communities. Dr. Oh will show how to use these tools to identify dispari
