The UCSF Department of Psychiatry and San Francisco Marin Medical Society invite you to a reception for American Medical Association President-Elect Patrice A. Harris, MD, MA.

Dr. Harris was elected president-elect of the AMA in June 2018, and will assume the post of AMA president in June 2019. She is the first African-American woman selected for the office.

A psychiatrist from Atlanta, Dr. Harris has diverse experience as a private practice physician, public health administrator, patient advocate, and medical society lobbyist. She is an adjunct assistant professor in Emory University's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
