 Planners expect learners to:

1. Describe the pathophysiology and clinical characteristics of children with bronchiolitis.

2. List evidence-based therapies used in management of children admitted with bronchiolitis and acute respiratory failure.

3. Describe how a quality improvement methodology can be used to address overuse of heated high flow nasal cannula therapy for bronchiolitis and reduce length of stay and costs.
