10/19/21 “Food Allergies and the Skin: An Allergist’s Perspective”

Objectives:

1. Describe the relationship between eczema, food sensitization and food allergy.

2. Distinguish between sensitization and allergy.

3. Recognize Type I mediated food allergy and risk factors for food allergy.

4. Describe how food allergy adversely impacts racial and ethnic underserved populations, especially during the COVID19 pandemic.
