Objectives:

1.  Differentiate the affirmative model of gender care from other gender care models.

2. Identify the specific clinical needs of transgender vs. non-binary vs. gender expansive children and adolescents.

3. Delineate the clinical and ethical challenges in interdisciplinary care of transgender/gender expansive children and adolescents from a mental health perspective.
