Bright Lights: Phototherapy and Lasers in Pediatric Dermatology

1. List the dermatologic conditions for which phototherapy is an indicated treatment.

2. Describe pitfalls and potential obstacles to phototherapy treatment for pediatric patients, taking into

account how age, socioeconomic levels and geography impact access to treatment.

3. Identify patients who may benefit from laser treatments.
