1. Describe the global rise of antimicrobial resistance.2. Identify the impact of antimicrobial resistance on local patient populations.

3. Examine the efforts of antimicrobial stewardship to combat antimicrobial resistance.

4. Assess the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship in resource restricted settings.
