“Integrative Headache Management for the Child & Adolescent”

Planners expect learners to:

1. Identify the most common conventional and integrative therapies available for headache management in the pediatric and adolescent patient.

2. Demonstrate how to use preventive therapies including: medications, supplements, acupuncture, nerve blocks, self-regulation/relaxation, massage, exercise, and physical therapy in the headache patient.

3. Utilize abortive therapies including medications, therapeutics, and procedures for pediatric headaches.
