 rners to:\n\n1. Describe Child Welfare Services’ processes of decision m
 aking from receiving a call on the child abuse hotline to closure of an in
 vestigation or case.\n\n2. Define what is within and outside the scope of 
 the child welfare system.\n\n3. Examine the updated CA laws around reporti
 ng General Neglect\, AB 2085\, and ways to support families when community
  level intervention is in alignment with that law.\n\n4. Recognize “gaze
  aversion” and its impact on reporting child abuse.\n\n \n\nUCSF Benioff
