“Diabetes Update: How to Overcome Barriers to Optimal Glycemic Control”

Planners expect learners to:
1. Identify factors that may contribute to sub-optimal diabetes care and burn out.
2. Recognize abnormal physical exam findings related to the use of insulin pumps.
3. Discuss with families and patients how insulin pumps and continuous glucose sensors can improve the quality of life for someone with type 1 diabetes.
