Planners expect learners to:

1. Use the AAP-recommended validated suicide screening and assessment tools for pediatric primary care.

2. Describe the AAP-recommended clinical pathway suicide screening, suicide assessment and treatment planning for mild to moderate to severe suicide risk.

3. Use the AAP-recommended suicide interventions of safety planning and lethal means counseling to assist in determining the suicide risk formulation.
