Clinical teaching can be challenging for many reasons – limited time, hectic pace, many different learners, etc. Participants in this interactive workshop will be able to list techniques to maximize the learning climate describe how to ask questions that are useful and non-threatening.

Brad Monash is Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Pediatrics and works as an adult and pediatric hospitalist at UCSF. He serves as Associate Division Chief for the UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine; Site Director for the UCSF Medicine Residency; and Co-Director of Coda, the UCSF School of Medicine capstone course. His interests include medical education, clinical reasoning, systems of care, and patient engagement.
