Join us for a day of shared learning, storytelling, and connection to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

All events are in-person events at UCSF Mission Bay. The Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions is also available to join online via Zoom.

This day highlights how brain health work is being advanced in communities around the world through collaboration, creativity, and shared purpose.

Throughout the day, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Pacific, experience art displays featuring Creativity in the Community – Arts and Health with Older Adults led by Creative Minds.

The day begins with Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions, a live, international exchange connecting five regions where Atlantic Fellows are leading work. Participants will hear insights and reflections from Uganda, the Oceania region, Peru, Argentina, and France and Francophone countries, in dialogue with members of GBHI faculty and leadership.

The program continues with In Conversation: Building Teams for Change with Mamphela Ramphele, MBChB, PhD, exploring how teams can work together with courage, creativity, and compassion to advance health equity. Midday activities include lunch and opportunities for informal connection and reflection.

The day concludes with Short Films: Global Perspectives on Brain Health, a screening and panel discussion featuring short films by Atlantic Fellows from diverse settings that highlight resilience, care, and innovation in brain health.

Across sessions, the day offers a space to learn from one another, share experiences, and explore how ideas are put into practice in different contexts around the world.
