The University of California, San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF) will maintain MR Safety Policies and Procedures, which are to be established, maintained, and routinely reviewed by the University's MRI Safety Committee (MRSC). The Committee aims to provide guidance as needed to non-Radiology Departments operating MRI as well as UCSF affiliate sites, review and address MRI safety incidents, and provide bi-annual reporting to the Department Quality and Safety Committee.
