There are many plan options available in Medicare and it can be quite confusing to try to choose the best plan to suit one's situation. When the program's annual Open Enrollment Period started a few weeks ago, many people on Medicare looked the other way, preferring to ignore the hassle. But doing so can become costly for those whose health conditions or medications have changed, and that they still remain in their current plan or choose the wrong plan. So, please make sure to review your plan options again during this Open Enrollment Period which will end on December 7, 2023.

To guide you in making a good decision in choosing the right plan, we have invited Dickon Chan, a Medicare specialist who is fluent in Cantonese and English, to show us how to navigate through the different plan options amidst the many Medicare Supplemental plans (A to N) for Medicare Plans A and B, the Medicare Advantage plan (MA plan or Plan C), as well as the drug plan (Plan D).
