RSVP by Tuesday, November 17th, 6pm.

As a part of Latinx Heritage Month 2020, we invite you to the virtual screening of No Más Bebés (No More Babies). No Más Bebés is a story about immigrant mothers who were sterilized after giving birth at LA County-USC Medical Center and accounts their fight for reproductive justice as they sued the county doctors, the state of California, and the US government. Though the Madrigal v. Quilligan case was decided in 1978, the fight for reproductive justice continues today as recent allegations of coerced sterilizations of immigrants at ICE detention centers have surfaced.

Following the film, we will have a discussion to debrief with members of the UCSF community, including panelists from The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, Team Lily, UCSF OBGYN, and California Latinas for Reproductive Justice.

This event is hosted by the following Latinx organizations at UCSF:

- Society of the Advancement Chicanx and Native American Scientists

- National Hispanic Pharmacy Association

- Hispanic Student Dental Association

- Chicanx Latinx Campus Association
