Extremis Screening: An Evening with Jessica Zitter, M.D.

In celebration of National Health Care Decisions Day and National Nurses Week, we invite you to a screening of Extremis, a critically acclaimed 2016 documentary that offers a moving and intimate look at the emotional and ethical decisions made in the ICU. Directed by Dan Krauss, Extremis follows nationally recognized palliative care physician Dr. Jessica Zitter and her team as they navigate the realities of end-of-life care.

After the film, Dr. Zitter—also a bestselling author, filmmaker, and founder of nonprofit Reel Medicine Media—will offer a powerful discussion on advance care planning and the importance of advance directives, particularly among healthcare professionals.
