  by:\n\nMeg McNamara\, MD and Michele Long\, MD\n\n \n\nIn this 2-hour wor
 kshop participants learn about the role of feedback in medical education\,
  how it relates to assessment and evaluation\, and how feedback can encour
 age a growth mindset in learners. We introduce the keep-stop-start framewo
 rk as the foundation for actionable feedback and describe different feedba
 ck delivery models used in medical education. Participants get an opportun
 ity to practice discussing feedback using this framework with case example
 s from their own learning environment.\n\nAt the end of the session schola
 rs will be able to:\n\nOutline the role of feedback in medical education\n
 Describe how feedback focused on learner development can encourage a growt
 h mindset\nDiscuss actionable feedback applying the keep-stop-start framew
 ork\n\nDuring the session\, participants will:\n\nPractice discussing feed
 back using the keep-stop-start framework\nApply the keep-stop-start framew
 ork to case examples from your own learning environment\n\n \n\nUCSF is ac
 credited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to 
 provide continuing medical education for physicians.\n\nUCSF designates th
 is live activity for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physic
 ians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their pa
 rticipation in the activity.\n\nThe above credit is inclusive of all UCSF 
 Educational Skills Workshops and the Teaching Scholars Program. Credit ava
 ilable for this event only is 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.\n\nFor the 
 purpose of recertification\, the American Nurses Credentialing Center acce
 pts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the
  ACCME.\n\nThe California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professi
 onal education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharma
