Along The Feeney Way (Campus Way) between Genentech Hall and Rutter/Mission Bay Community Center
Have some bulky e-waste stored in your office? Dispose of it free of charge through the UCSF Recycling and Waste Reduction team.
The recycling event is for UCSF Staff and UCSF owned or purchased electronics only. All drop-offs must fill out this form prior to participating in this event.
UCSF staff will check your items to ensure they meet the criteria for drop-offs. Keep in mind the following items are NOT accepted.
- Personal electronics
- UCSF Capital Asset Tagged items
- Single use batteries
- Light bulbs/lamps
- Equipment with freon or refrigeration components
- Broken glass/sharps
- Equipment with liquids/oil still in it
- Anything non-electronic
- Biohazardous equipment or lab equipment that has not been sterilized
Staff will be onsite along the Feeney Way (Campus Way) between Genentech Hall and Rutter/Mission Bay Community Center on Wednesday May 27, 2026 from 10-1pm to collect unwanted electronics. For more information and to sign up, visit:
