 esigned for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offer
 s an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. UCSF’s DNP degre
 e program prepares innovative clinical experts and leaders to be at the to
 p of the nursing profession in advancing patient care and policy. Several 
 professional organizations have  committed to moving all entry level advan
 ced nursing practice to the doctoral level. If you already have a Masters 
 degree or will have a Masters degree\, you might be interested in applying
  for the UCSF Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program.\n\nApplications ar
 e currently open through December 1\, 2019 for our next DNP student cohort
