Hello from the UCSF DNP Program!
Our DNP degree program is designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. UCSF’s DNP degree program prepares innovative clinical experts and leaders to be at the top of the nursing profession in advancing patient care and policy. Several professional organizations have committed to moving all entry level advanced nursing practice to the doctoral level. If you already have a Masters degree or will have a Masters degree, you might be interested in applying for the UCSF Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program.
Applications are currently open through June 30, 2020 for our next DNP student cohort, enrolling fall 2020. Join us on Zoom (web conferencing) for one of our recurring informational webinars, and learn more about the DNP from program faculty. Our next webinar is on February 27, 6-7pm. To access Zoom, please download the zoom application on your phone, desktop computer, or laptop and use the meeting information to join the session.
