DESCRIPTION:Devan Jaganath\, MD is a clinical fellow in pediatrics at UCSF.
  He is interested in pediatric TB in low resources settings. \n\nThe Young
  Investigators in International Research conference is led by Gabriel Cham
 ie in the Division of HIV\, ID & Global Medicine\, this conference- styled
  group was initiated in 2008 to convene UCSF junior investigators who shar
 e an interest in international research to discuss research ideas\, challe
 nges\, and works-in-progress.  The group began as a forum for junior inves
 tigators (fellows and faculty) to discuss research that they conduct in in
 ternational settings.  The topics for discussion are meant to be driven by
  the needs of the researcher.  Each YIC will be assigned to a junior inves
 tigator\, rather than a specific topic. Senior investigators with signific
 ant experience working in international health research attend as well\, t
 o provide advice and feedback in an informal\, small group setting. Becaus
 e unpublished research is discussed\, the conference does not allow remote
  access\, and may decide to limit participation. Feel free to reach out to
