About this Event
Devan Jaganath, MD is a clinical fellow in pediatrics at UCSF. He is interested in pediatric TB in low resources settings.
The Young Investigators in International Research conference is led by Gabriel Chamie in the Division of HIV, ID & Global Medicine, this conference- styled group was initiated in 2008 to convene UCSF junior investigators who share an interest in international research to discuss research ideas, challenges, and works-in-progress. The group began as a forum for junior investigators (fellows and faculty) to discuss research that they conduct in international settings. The topics for discussion are meant to be driven by the needs of the researcher. Each YIC will be assigned to a junior investigator, rather than a specific topic. Senior investigators with significant experience working in international health research attend as well, to provide advice and feedback in an informal, small group setting. Because unpublished research is discussed, the conference does not allow remote access, and may decide to limit participation. Feel free to reach out to the organizer if you'd ike to attend.
