"Trauma-Informed Approach to Patient Care and Services"
 

Holly Austin Gibbs is employed by Dignity Health, a member of Trafficking CommonSpirit Health, as Director of the Human  Response Program. Holly oversees efforts to educate CommonSpirit Health staff about human trafficking and how to assist victims/survivors of any type of abuse, neglect, or violence using a trauma-informed approach. In 2014, Holly published an academic book titled Walking Prey: How America's Youth are Vulnerable to Sex Slavery, and she is a blogger for the Huffington Post. 

Holly has a B.A. in Biology and formerly worked as a senior microscopist for an environmental microbiology laboratory. As a survivor of child sex trafficking, Holly has testified before Congress and consulted for numerous organizations, including the U.S. Office for Victims of Crime, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, and the AMBER Alert program.
