 hypertension (PH) is a rapidly evolving condition that requires a multidis
 ciplinary approach to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. T
 his week's Grand Rounds will focus on the latest developments in PH manage
 ment\, beginning with the latest definitions\, diagnostic strategies\, and
  the full spectrum of treatment options. We'll learn from our medical\, su
 rgical\, and interventional specialty colleagues who will highlight the mu
 ltidisciplinary individualized plans needed for the care of these patients
 . \n\nSpeakers:\nNicholas Kolaitis\, MD\, MAS\, is an assistant professor 
 of medicine and director of Bronchoscopy in the Division of Pulmonary\, Cr
 itical Care\, Allergy and Sleep Medicine at UCSF Health. Kolaitis holds se
 veral leadership roles in the California Thoracic Society\, the Internatio
 nal Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation\, and the Pulmonary Hyperte
 nsion Association.\n\nJasleen Kukreja\, MD\, MPH\, is a professor in the D
 epartment of Surgery and director of the Lung Transplant Program at UCSF M
 edical Center\, which is internationally renowned for its outstanding outc
 omes. Kukreja is the associate director of UCSF's lung transplant research
  division of cardiothoracic surgery and has received many professional hon
 ors\, locally and nationally.\n\nMarc Simon\, MD\, MS\, is a professor of 
 medicine in the Division of Cardiology and director of Pulmonary Vascular 
 Disease and the Pulmonary Hypertension Comprehensive Care Center at UCSF H
 ealth. Simon’s research involves developing new therapies for pulmonary 
 hypertension and right-sided heart failure in PH.\n\nMiles Conrad\, MD\, M
 PH\, is a professor in the Department of Radiology and co-director and co-
 founder of the UCSF Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Center of 
 Excellence. Conrad specializes in the treatment of new and recurring pulmo
 nary arteriovenous malformations.\n\nEmily Fedewa\, NP\, MSN\, is a nurse 
 practitioner in the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic at UCSF Health. \n\nHuie
  Lin\, MD\, PhD\, is an assistant professor of cardiology at Houston Metho
 dist Hospital\, where he leads the adult congential cardiology service.\n\
 nWilson Cui\, MD\, PhD\, is an associate professor in the Department of An
 esthesiology at UCSF Health.
