Updates in Preventive Cardiology: Bringing Precision to Cardiovascular Risk Assessment

Navigating an ever-evolving alphabet soup of acronyms in the field of preventive cardiology can be an intimidating task, and this Grand Rounds will help break it down. Dr. Ramzi Dudum will review key updates in preventive cardiology, including refining cardiovascular risk assessment and integrating imaging and biomarker-based risk enhancers. It will also preview emerging advances in lipid management and implications for everyday clinical practice.

Speaker: 
Ramzi Dudum, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology at UCSF Health. His work focuses on improving care for patients with cardiometabolic disease and using artificial intelligence-identified risk factors to enable earlier detection and treatment of this disease process.
