Ethical Cases and Conundrums in Medicine
Ethical questions arise commonly as part of medical practice, whether in the intensive care unit or in the clinic. This Grand Rounds will explore complex clinical ethical cases, share a practical framework to provide scaffolding for ethical reasoning, and reflect on how moral distress can shape clinicians’ experiences in patient care.
Speaker:
Sirisha Narayana, MD, is professor of medicine at UCSF Health and chair of the UCSF Medical Ethics Committee. Her work focuses on complex medical decision-making, ethics, and medical education.
