Department of Medicine Grand Rounds

33rd Annual Alice Hamilton Lecture

Occupational Toxins and Outbreaks: The Alert
Clinician and Public Health

Work-related exposures remain an underrecognized but critical contributor to morbidity. This Grand Rounds will explore the intersection of occupational health, clinical recognition of hazardous exposures, and public health action. Through real-world cases and evidence-informed interventions, Robert Harrison will share practical approaches to identifying concerning symptoms and lessons from successful prevention efforts.

About the Annual Alice Hamilton Lecture:
Every year, our UCSF Division of Occupational, Environmental, and Climate Medicine (OECM) sponsors a lectureship in honor of Alice Hamilton, the founder of the modern discipline of occupational medicine in the U.S. View past lectures on the OECM website.
