A Death Cafe is a group discussion on the general topic of death, with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group, rather than a grief support or counseling session.

In our culture, the topic of death is typically avoided, which is unhealthy for everyone. At this event, people of all ages ~ from a 20-year old, with no personal experiences of death in their lives to geriatrics who have lost many people in their lives ~ will sit at tables, enjoy snacks and tea, and informally discuss the topic of death. The event will be facilitated by Chloe Martin, PhD, who has been facilitating Death Cafes since 2016.

This event is part of Reimagine End of Life, a citywide exploration of death and celebration of life through creativity and conversation.

We hope you can join us! There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required, as seating is limited. Please RSVP via the Reimagine End of Life website.
