Dr Msellemu will talk about the use of spatial repellents in areas where primary malaria intervention tools have been extensively applied. The goal of using spatial repellents is to reduce residual malaria infections and contribute to the control of malaria.

 Daniel Msellemu, PhD  A Senior Research Scientist at the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) in Tanzania, one of Africa's leading health research organizations known for its ground-breaking innovations in healthcare. With over 15 years of experience, Daniel has worked extensively on malaria and dengue research, focusing on urban environments.

 He holds a master's degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Basel, Switzerland. His work has significantly contributed to understanding vector-borne diseases and shaping effective health interventions in urban environments in Africa.
