University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

The CREST Program provides education and mentoring to help HDFCCC staff both explore the differences between the nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and MD roles (Career Exploration Track) and to support their application process (Application Track). All HDFCCC staff are eligible to register. For more information on the tracks and upcoming events, click here. You must first register for the CREST Program, followed by registration for each individual event you wish to attend. Once you have registered for the CREST Program, you may then register for the Mock Interviews program.

HDFCCC Health staff may use their education hours to attend CREST events. They must be approved in advance by the employee's manager and recorded in MyTime.

Mock interviews are provided for those interested in medical school, nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs. Interviewers are current UCSF faculty, fellows, NPs or PAs.

Participants are paired with their interviewer in July and interviews take place in August. Interviews will be conducted over Zoom. Space is limited. Priority is given to Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center staff, and those applying to their target programs within the next year.
