The Use of Energy-based Devices in Skin of Color

Gina Jones, MD, PGY-4 Dermatology Resident, Dermatology

Objectives:

  • Understand the unique challenges and considerations of treating skin of color with energy-based devices.
  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of different energy-based devices for skin of color.
  • Implement best practices for minimizing complications and adverse effects in skin of color.
