University of California San Francisco Give to UCSF

The Campus Council on Faculty Life (CCFL) is pleased to sponsor four programs for faculty who are interested in leadership development. 

‌‌CCFL and CORO, a nonprofit leadership organization, have partnered to offer faculty an opportunity to learn, in an interactive workshop setting, essential leadership skills for leading teams and reducing conflict.

All sessions will be presented in-person and are limited to 20 faculty members

‌Eligibility: Applications welcomed from faculty in all schools, series and ranks

appointed at greater than 50%

New-two part series  only those registrants who can attend both sessions should apply

Outcomes:

  • Greater understanding of the differences between conflict resolution and conflict transformation.
  • Improved ability to analyze and transform conflict.
  • Deeper awareness of various tools to utilize when transforming conflict.

Sample Activities:

  • Participants will explore the uniqueness of the conflict transformation approach and learn how to analyze a conflict.
  • Participants will learn their default conflict style and examine when to flex a different style.
