UCSF Psycho-oncology presents COMPASS for Caregivers: Acting Mindfully for a Valued Life.

  • Is caregiving causing you stress or feelings of overwhelm?
  • Are you struggling with sadness, guilt, anger or fear?

Join us for lunch and learn how to use mindfulness and psychological flexibility to act in a meaningful and balanced way, as you care for yourself and your loved ones.

COMPASS for Caregivers is a 6-week group therapy program for caregivers of UCSF cancer patients, focused on learning and practicing strategies that are based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

A light lunch will be provided, generously sponsored by the Gordon Murray Caregiver Program.

Dates:
Orientation: Tuesday, October 8, 12:30-2:00 pm
Classes: 6 Tuesdays, October 15 - November 19, 12:30-2:00 pm
