This community event is dedicated to refreshing wardrobes and reducing textile waste!

First - shop, it's actually free, our clothing swap to refresh your wardrobe.

Then–if you have time–volunteer with SCRAP by sorting and labeling donated fabric remnants. SCRAP is an arts education nonprofit and creative reuse center founded in 1976 in San Francisco. 

Donate Clothes for the Swap Event

You do not need to donate clothes in order to shop the event. However, if you do want to donate clothes for the swap, please drop them off at one of the locations and times below. You can reach out to artsandevents@ucsf.edu and let us know that you're coming to drop off, or just swing by during one of the following times. If none of the times work, send us an email, and we can try to find an accommodation.

Clothing Drop Off Times:

Mission Bay, Rutter Center - MB 250

  • April 1, 2, 7, 9, or 14, between 10am and 4pm

Parnassus, Student Food Market Parnassus - Millberry Union, 100W

  • April 2 or April 9, between 10am and 1pm on
  • April 3 or 10, between 10am and 4pm 

We are accepting adult-sized clothes only -- please no shoes, accesories, books, or children's clothing.
