​UCSF physicians will present challenging problems in their specialty and students will form a team and come up with an idea of how to solve them.

After talking with many UCSF colleagues and students we have set up two programs, one to bring UCSF clinicians out of their silos (UCSF Clinically Inspired Discovery) and the other to enhance career opportunities for our students and postdocs (UREKA).  Both will be launched  our April 10 event in the Rutter Center. Our audience, limited to 100, is primarily students who are exploring careers at the interface of clinical medicine and the life scientists.
