About this Event
We are pleased to announce and invite you to UCSF’s 2023 Clinical Trials Day celebration, hosted by the Clinical Trials Operations (CTO) team in collaboration with the Clincial Research Coordinators (CRCs) Council. The event will be held via Zoom, on Thursday, May 18th, from 2 – 3.30pm.
All UCSF CRCs / Clinical Research Support Staff are welcome to join us – Register here!
UCSF Clinical Trials Day is an annual celebration of the many contributions of CRCs to UCSF’s clinical research enterprise and loosely coincides with the world-wide commemoration of when James Lind started what is considered the first randomized clinical trial to treat scurvy aboard a ship on May 20, 1747.
The program will include leadership welcome and remarks, sponsor breakout rooms staffed by many of the teams and departments that study teams interact with to answer your questions and let you put faces to names and network, and presentation of the CRC of the Year Award.
Raffle drawings will be held in sponsor breakout rooms, and please note you must register for the event in order to be eligible for the drawings, and you must be present to win.
Do you know a phenomenal Clinical Research Coordinator? Please consider nominating them for the CRC of Year Award!
UCSF CTSI/CTO and the CRC Council would like to recognize Clinical Research Coordinators and others in CRC functional roles at the UCSF Clinical Trials Day Celebration. We are seeking nominations for those who have demonstrated exceptional qualities to promote integrity and excellence for the clinical research profession.
Anyone can submit a nomination! It only takes a few moments; the deadline is 5pm on Monday, May 1st. Please consider nominating a CRC colleague here.
