The February Clinical Ethics Journal Club will be on Thursday, February 22nd, at 4pm and led by Alex Smith, MD, MPH, MS, Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics. We will discuss a recent article that seeks to make a distinction between necessary and unnecessary discomfort in physician training. Attendees may also want to read another article by the same author that examines social forces reshaping perceptions of the medical profession from a calling to a job.
