Free Event

The Chicané/Latiné Campus Association (CLCA) is hosting a Cafecito to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and our shared love of community over some café. Everyone is welcome to attend as members of our communities and in solidarity with our communities.

Please RSVP/register by September 21 so we can get an accurate headcount.

Our Story
The Chicané Latiné Campus Association (CLCA) was co-founded in 2015 by Alejandra Rincon and Sergio Saenz to unite the community at UCSF. We now have over 275 members and were awarded a national higher education award in 2020.

Our Guiding Principles
CLCA works in solidarity with other UCSF groups to advance the university's mission, embody its PRIDE Values, and enact its Principles of Community.

Our Mission

  • Increase representation of faculty and staff in leadership roles.
  • Recruit and enroll more students and trainees from California.
  • Provide professional development opportunities.
  • Address issues affecting the Chicané Latiné community at UCSF.
  • Recognize the contributions and accomplishments of our community.
