With your help we developed the Comprehensive Parnassus Heights Plan (CPHP), the 30-year vision to revitalize our oldest campus. Community input has been essential throughout the planning process, with UCSF convening 28 neighborhood meetings and actively engaging over 2,000 neighbors with input incorporated directly into the plan and creating a list of 25 community investment ideas.
Since we wrapped up our community engagement process in June, UCSF has been working with SFMTA, SF Department of Planning, and other local agencies to explore the community investment ideas identified by our neighbors. Last month, UCSF launched a neighborhood survey to gather additional input on community investment strategies and received over 1,250 responses.
The City & County of San Francisco is hosting a community meeting to gather additional input as we work on updating the existing 1987 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between UCSF and the City and County of San Francisco to help ensure the plans for Parnassus Heights align with the City’s priorities for housing, open space, and transportation and knits into the surrounding neighborhood.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting. Please note this meeting is to discuss the MOU only, and not the Comprehensive Parnassus Heights Plan (CPHP) itself, or the CPHP’s Environmental Impact Report (EIR).
For more information about this MOU, please visit the project webpage. Questions about the City of San Francisco and UCSF Parnassus Heights amendment to the MOU? Please contact CPC.ParnaussusMOU@sfgov.org.
