Chancellor's 2019 State of the University Address

Join Chancellor Sam Hawgood for his annual State of the University address when he will talk about the incredible opportunities that UC San Francisco is experiencing, which he will outline in this year's theme "here and now."

Hawgood will elaborate on the fortuitous convergence of time and place in a region that has driven an unprecedented pace of scientfic and technological innovation that is transforming health.

He will share highlights of his five-year tenure as leader of the premier health sciences university, a period of remarkable growth, and outline his four goals for the future that, if met, will ensure UCSF's continued success.

The address will be presented live in Cole Hall Auditorium on the Parnassus Heights campus and will be streamed live on the web. The address also will be simulcast at other UCSF locations, including in the Pottruck Auditorium in Rock Hall at Mission Bay, Herbst Hall at Mount Zion, Conference Room 7M30 at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, CHORI Theater at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and Room 116 at UCSF Fresno.

A light lunch will be served at receptions at all of those locations.
