This full-day event will introduce a vision for genome surgery at UCSF. UCSF Center for Genome Surgery is a new partnership between the UCSF Broad Stem Cell Center and the Innovative Genomics Institute, dedicated to building a pathway to bring genetically-targeted therapies to people with genetic diseases.

Poster Presentations: Faculty, trainees, and research staff are invited to submit abstracts for consideration in the poster session by August 14. Presentations ranging from basic science discovery research through clinical implementation in genetic medicine are welcome. Topics may include disease biology, therapeutic engineering, genome editing, gene replacement, RNA therapeutics, cell therapies, delivery technologies, manufacturing, regulatory science, ethics, and multidisciplinary approaches to clinical translation. We particularly encourage work that bridges scientific discovery with the development therapies for patients with genetic disease. The symposium is designed to bring together investigators from academia, healthcare, industry, regulatory, and patient advocacy organizations to foster discussion and collaboration around the development and translation of genetic medicines. Authors should therefore submit abstracts and data that are appropriate for presentation to this broad audience. Submit abstract.
